Kevin Rice is the new Chery Automobile’s head of design. The Chinese manufacturer has opened a research and development center in Europe this year, precisely in Frankfurt, trying to increase its presence in Europe. As announced by Chery, the appointment is official and effective from October 1, 2018. The 55-year-old British designer began his career in Turin at Italdesign. After that he worked for a lot of European car brands including Opel, Saab and BMW. The last position held was head of Mazda’s European design.
