If the exteriors were designed following new stylistic principles for the brand, the same was done for the interiors, beginning with space. An example? We moved the 150-mm dashboard forward, by positioning the climate control in the bonnet\u201d, Bischoff continues. The interiors design is completely new. If the logo weren\u2019t on the steering wheel to remind you, it would be difficult to say you were in a Volkswagen. The change occurred in the name of digitalisation: the vehicle\u2019s telematics are controlled by two floating displays: a 10-inch one at the centre of the dashboard and a 6.5-inch one in front of the driver to replace the analogic instrumentation. A large head-up display, which projects information on the windscreen in 3D, is also envisaged. \u201cEverything is oriented towards maximum simplicity.
