The appointment was announced by Thierry Bollore, CEO of Jaguar Land Rover. <a href=\"https:\/\/autodesignmagazine.com\/en\/2020\/11\/frascella-promoted-land-rover-design-director-as-mcgovern-leads-jlr-group-design\/\"><strong>McGovern was appointed Chief Creative Officer<\/strong> <\/a>of Jaguar Land Rover in October 2020, a clear indication of the vital role that design leadership plays in the future of the group&#8217;s brands.<\/p>\n<p>McGovern has played a key role in Land Rover&#8217;s styling transformation, overseeing models such as the 2010 Evoque, Discovery, Velar and the new Defender. &#8220;It is an honour to join the Jaguar Land Rover Board of Management, and to be given the opportunity to lead my team to creatively reimagine Jaguar and continue the Land Rover transformation.
