However, at this stage, the models on the market are not yet fruit of original designs and specifically dedicated platforms, but rather variants of traditional ones, based on a design that is still classic, even if in sync with the times. Equipped with a 100% electric powertrain, it takes up the shape and design of the traditionally powered variants that have ensured the success of the eighth generation, launched back in 2014.\u00a0 Although the size and lines are almost the same, the new Ford E-Transit differs from its conventionally powered twin in the addition of distinctive design elements. As with the exterior design, the interior of the passenger compartment remains true to the characteristics of the conventionally powered versions.
