The car will be built on the Cmf-Bev platform, the same architecture used by the <a href=\"https:\/\/autodesignmagazine.com\/en\/2021\/01\/renault-r5-between-past-and-future\/\"><span style=\"color: #a0ce4e;\"><strong>Renault R5<\/strong><\/span><\/a> coming in 2024. The electric Nissan Micra was designed by the Japanese manufacturer, but will be engineered and built in France by Renault.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-fullwidth Flins plant to Renault&#8217;s Electric City in Douai. The small Japanese car will most likely have many features in common with the R5, including the powertrain that should support a battery pack up to 50 kilowatt hours for about 400 kilometers of autonomy. The first image released by Nissan shows the new model in the prototype phase, characterized by soft lines and full volumes with the front defined by circular LED daytime running lights that contain inside them high and low beams.
