Durand succeeds Miles N\u00fcrnberger, who is leaving the company for personal reasons and to devote himself to other professional projects, and will report to Laurens van den Acker, Executive Vice President Design of the Renault Group and a member of the Renault Group Board of Directors.<\/p>\n<p>Durand, 49, graduated from the \u00c9cole sup\u00e9rieure de design Strate Coll\u00e8ge in Paris. He began his career with the Renault Group in 1997 as an exterior designer. He was entrusted with the creation of the Koleos concept car in 1999 and the Ellipse in 2002.\u00a0From 2002 to 2009, the French designer worked in the Renault design centers in Barcelona (Spain), Seoul (South Korea) and S\u00e3o Paulo (Brazil).
