Mitsubishi presented the XFC Concept, a concept car anticipating a compact SUV initially reserved for Asian markets. The prototype, designed by the team led by Alessandro Dambrosio, was presented in Vietnam, in Ho Chi Minh City. In line with Mitsubishi’s Robust&Ingenious styling philosophy, the XFC Concept combines the compact dimensions of an SUV with sculpted volumes and smooth surfaces with the large three-diamond logo at the centre of the front.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The profile is sleek and rather dynamic, while the ground clearance allows it to move safely even over rough and uneven terrain. The large wheels also contribute to this, while the hexagonal graphics of the two LED elements at the base of the front bumper, painted in the same colour as the rest of the bodywork like the miniskirts and the other aerodynamic elements, are also new. Speaking of aerodynamics, the XFC Concept adopts digital mirrors to reduce the coefficient of air resistance.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The interior design anticipates what we will see on future models of the Japanese brand. The layout of the telematics system is unprecedented and features two aligned horizontal displays that transmit digital infotainment system instrumentation. The large central tunnel culminates in the climate control compartment, which can be controlled from a touch panel separate from the rest of the infotainment system.
