Kia’s electrification process is proceeding towards 2027, when half of the cars produced and sold will be electric or hybrid. The ambassador for this \u201cgreen\u201d approach of the Korean manufacturer is the EV6, the model that has led the brand into the world of next-generation electrics, inaugurating the E-GMP platform for Kia. Now, as the remaining Kia range also switches to electrified solutions, the EV6 family is expanding with the new GT variant: this is the sportiest version in the range, capable of ensuring supercar performance thanks to its 585 HP. But the differences from the other EV6s are not just technical.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The aesthetics of the model have also been revised in a more dynamic key, without distorting the lines and the stylistic language that characterizes it. In the front, larger air intakes can be seen, which ensure a better flow of air to the mechanical parts. The rear changes are also light: the spoiler above the rear window has grown, while the bumper is all new and now sports vertical reflector inserts at both ends. In the profile view, the large 21-inch alloy wheels with a dedicated design stand out: they hide the increased braking system, characterized by acid green monobloc calipers. The same color is also used in the interiors, where the bucket seats with contrasting stitching (green too) provide a more sporty connotation to the environment. Lots of technology on board, well represented by the double screen positioned on the dashboard, which incorporates the instrument panel and the infotainment system.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

With the GT variant, therefore, the EV6 project reaches full maturity, confirmed by the achievement of various awards, among which the Car of the Year 2022 stands out. But the EV6 is only the first step towards an increasingly sustainable future for Kia. Starting next year, in fact, other models will arrive on tap belonging to different market segments.
