Zero Motorcycles has unveiled the first images of the SR X, a unique and fully customised reinterpretation of the SR\/S model. The SR-X was created in collaboration with Bill Webb of renowned San Francisco studio Huge Design and is the latest creation in Zero Motorcycles’ ‘Design the Future’ development programme; a creative hub that over the years has been able to produce some of the world’s most innovative electric motorbikes. This programme aims to expand the aesthetic boundaries in the world of electric motorbikes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Bill Web has always played a key role in building Zero Motorcycles’ vision for the future. He was responsible for the design of the popular FXE and its concept predecessor, the Zero SM. The SR-X epitomises both his visionary spirit and Zero’s ongoing commitment to research and innovation. This semi-faired motorbike concept boasts both performance and style and is proof of Zero Motorcycles’ undisputed leadership in the electric sector.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

“The SR-X concept bike aims to become the reference model for electric motorbike design in the near future, combining smooth, rigorous lines with the sharp looks and pure performance details typical of modern supersport bikes,” says Bill Web. “The SR-X’s approach to clean, rigorous and functional design has been combined with aggressive proportions and the technical components usually found in traditional race bikes. The SR-X represents an attempt to define a new sub-category of high-performance electric motorbikes, a model that is somewhere between a streetfighter and a track bike.
