The styling elements previewed in Polestar&#8217;s concept cars are reflected in the company&#8217;s fastest car to date. Polestar 4 is positioned between the Polestar 2 and Polestar 3 in terms of size and price. As a design-oriented brand, Polestar 4 sees the realisation of key elements first shown in the Precept concept car. Built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture platform developed by the Geely group, Polestar 4 is a D-segment coupe SUV with a wide body and a wheelbase of 2.9 metres. Its overall length is 4.8 metres, width 2.1 metres and height 1.5 metres. &#8220;With the Polestar Precept we have premiered an extraordinary new passenger experience by removing the rear window and bringing the rear headroom further back, which plays a key role in safety. The colour and material choices for Polestar 4 explore new options, including new exterior colours &#8216;Storm&#8217; and &#8216;Electron&#8217; and a unique new interior colour, &#8216;Mist&#8217;. New interior materials include a bespoke knitted fabric made from 100 per cent recycled PET, as well as bio-attributed MicroTech vinyl and animal welfare-certified Nappa leather upholstery. Bespoke knitted upholstery is a new technique for the automotive industry. First presented in the Precept concept car, the fabric is made of 100 per cent recycled polyester.
