Presentata come concept nel settembre 2007, al salone di Francoforte, la RCZ \u00e8 stata trasformata a tempi di record in vettura di serie. Anzi, \u201cfuori serie\u201d, per adottare la civettuola definizione del marketing.<\/p>\n<p>Di sicuro questa coup\u00e9 dalle impressionanti prestazioni stradali, quali abbiamo potuto constatare in una prova sulle tortuose strade della Rioja, terra che produce alcuni fra i pi\u00f9 rinomati vini di Spagna, non solo reintroduce nel catalogo Peugeot il concetto di \u201cveicolo di puro divertimento\u201d, ma accenna a un linguaggio formale e a stilemi che si rivedranno in altre vetture della nuova gestione di Gilles Vidal, pur conservando del passato quella calandra a grande bocca di leone che aveva caratterizzato negli ultimi anni la vena sportiva di G\u00e9rard Welter, ma che la casa francese \u2013 il concept SR1 visto a Ginevra ne \u00e8 l\u2019alfiere \u2013 ha ormai deciso di abbandonare.<\/p>\n<p>La volont\u00e0 originaria dei designer Peugeot era di conservare nella RCZ lo spirito stilistico del concept nonostante la sfida rappresentata dall\u2019integrazione di tutti i vincoli inerenti alla sua produzione. Quello show-car \u2013 frutto di una curiosa ispirazione, un pick-up con la cabina in avanti visto a Las Vegas a una mostra di tuning &#8211; era piaciuto troppo, e infatti la decisione di produrlo
