The Cupra DarkRebel is reportedly the Spanish brand&#8217;s ultimate provocative design expression. The concept car was designed by the Cupra style centre headed by Jorge Diez with the collaboration of the brand&#8217;s web community: the Cupra Tribe. &#8220;It represents all the DNA and values of the brand. The concept is based on the decomposition of the logo into three triangles, which are then applied to the daytime running lights. Sinuous surfaces and sharp lines create tension in the design, expressing a combination of energy and determination. This is emphasised by the enigmatic flowing colour of the bodywork. The dark purple hue evolves and changes depending on how the ambient light touches the vehicle body, enhancing its assertive stance and characterising DarkRebel as a sports car created to be driven. The use of parametric design and additive manufacturing offer a more concrete approach to sustainability. Inside, passengers are welcomed into an enveloping, innovative and extreme environment, bordered by an elegant frame outlined by dynamic shapes, from which raw, light structures emerge. The key element of the interior is the spine, with its asymmetrical shapes, lightness and sculptural appearance.
