Fiat has unveiled five concept cars that anticipate the future of the brand with the intention of producing global models, some specifically dedicated to markets where the Turin-based brand is a market leader.<\/p>\n
Fiat Mega Panda<\/strong><\/p>\n The first project is a citycar, larger than the current Panda: a sort of Mega Panda, whose design was also inspired by the brand’s birthplace – the iconic Lingotto building in Turin with its famous test track on the roof. The Fiat designers led by Francois Leboine were inspired by some of the Lingotto’s distinctive features to create the new design language: structural lightness, optimisation of space and luminosity. For example, the oval shape of ‘La Pista 500’ is echoed in the interior: from the dashboard to the screen and seats.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> Fiat Giga Panda<\/strong><\/p>\n The second is a kind of Giga Panda, an SUV for families, spacious and habitable. According to Fiat, the vehicle is further confirmation of the brand’s focus on the transport needs of families. The spirit of the concept is quite robust thanks to its squared-off lines.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> Fiat Fastback<\/strong><\/p>\n The third concept is a fastback. Heir to two of the brand’s cars – the Fiat Fastback in Brazil and the Fiat Tipo in the Middle East and Africa – this fastback aims to follow in its footsteps and establish itself globally in Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, and even Europe. This concept car is built on the same modular platform and features a sporty design.
