If Roma had opened a path made of elegance and classic proportions, Amalfi follows it with greater determination, adding more muscle, dynamism and a plastic tension that sculpts every surface. The front gets rid of the traditional grille and houses a painted floating wing, suspended on a dark void that integrates sensors and light clusters. The long, hollowed-out bonnet is not only a tribute to the Gran Turismo of the past, but a functional and narrative element: it announces power and affirms erase&#8221;, Flavio Manzoni begins the presentation of his Amalfi with a quote from Achille Castiglioni. &#8220;When we started working on this project, I had a clear goal: to design a car that expresses maximum purity with as few details as possible.&#8221; The lines of the side develop a sharp wedge theme, with taut surfaces that capture the light and refract it in an almost liquid way. The rear light clusters, concealed in essential graphic cuts, refer to the language of classic Ferraris while being part of an ultra-modern visual vocabulary. &#8220;We wanted to bring a monolithic object to the road, almost a sculpture that was elegant on the outside but sporty on the inside,&#8221; explains Manzoni. In this context of style, the rear diffuser also becomes an artistic gesture: the integration of the mobile wing, capable of changing shape according to driving dynamics, is confirmation that form and function can coexist in perfect balance. The launch colour, Costiera Green, evokes the marine shades of the Amalfi Coast: &#8220;a bright teal green that enhances the dialogue between curves and edges, a perfect colour for this car&#8221;, The Bellagio Green of the interiors of the launch version dialogues with the exterior color and gives chromatic coherence to the entire project.
