Volkswagen presents the new generation of one of its most successful models: the new T-Roc. The design, created by the team led by Andreas Mindt, focuses on elongated proportions that contribute to creating greater dynamism. One of the main features of this style is a silver strip that extends from the A-pillar to the D-pillar and, due to its shape, is referred to by designers as a \u201chockey stick.\u201d Equally distinctive is the muscular, pronounced rear end, which extends over the rear wheel arch. As part of this model’s DNA, these features have also been incorporated into the new design of its successor.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

But evolving a design also means having the courage to combine the DNA of a bestseller with completely new elements and carry it forward into the next era. Just as in the front of the new T-Roc, the \u201cface\u201d now shows a stylistic similarity to other current Volkswagen models, such as the Tayron and ID.7. However, in the case of the T-Roc, this has resulted in an independent \u201cproduct face,\u201d i.e., a new original. The design of the lights also plays a key role in the reinterpretation of the T-Roc. The most advanced version features innovative IQ.Light LED Matrix headlights which, like the LED Plus headlights that come as standard in the most comprehensive equipment packages, are connected by a thin LED crossbar and illuminated logo. The rear has also been redesigned with a continuous LED crossbar which, in the most complete equipment lines, is also illuminated in the center and features a red illuminated logo.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The new T-Roc also takes a big leap forward in terms of interior design, breaking down the boundaries between categories thanks to the quality of its materials, clean and dynamic design, and innovative technologies. One aesthetic and tactile feature of this leap in quality is the dashboard surface, which is covered with a newly developed fabric structure that creates a lounge-style atmosphere. At the same time, the minimalist interior design creates a welcoming atmosphere. The conscious decision to forego classic decorative elements results in a linear interior that highlights the quality of the details, such as soft lighting that illuminates the interior of a VW for the first time through perforated imitation leather surfaces. The development of the T-Roc also focused on the ergonomics of the controls. This is why the door handles have been redesigned: they are now integrated into the front armrests. Particular attention has been paid to aerodynamics in order to reduce fuel consumption and emissions: this has been optimized through virtual airflow simulations and real-world wind tunnel tests.
