Cupra is exhibiting the Tindaya at IAA Mobility 2025, a concept car that reflects the vision and future design language of the Volkswagen Group brand. The show car aims to revolutionize the brand’s DNA. Unfiltered and unconstrained, it was designed with a single purpose: to maximize emotions. It all begins and ends with the illumination of the logo, which represents the soul of the car. The logo ignites the spark of life in the \u201cblack front mask,\u201d transforming it into something human, alive. The light expands across the front, sideways, at the rhythm of a living breath, into the three triangles that form the pupils of the Tindaya’s eyes, as if the vehicle were awakening.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The front end features a pronounced shark nose, flanked by aerodynamic keels that guide airflow to the side intakes. The hood, with two pronounced ridges on either side of the logo, features two sharp, sculpted lines that connect to the roof. From the side, the car’s striking proportions immediately catch the eye. The contrast between the cabin and the bodywork, with its ready-to-spring posture and sculpted shapes, defines its bold character. With a length of 4.72 m, large 23″ wheels, a 1\/3 to 2\/3 cabin-to-body ratio, and high ground clearance, highlighted by the progressive wheel arch cladding and lower door panel, the car has robust proportions. The fastback silhouette (with sloping roof), contrasting with the compact interior and athletic, expressive bodywork, defines its personality.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The cockpit has been designed as a completely driver-centric architecture, inspired by motorsport and the most advanced technologies. At the heart of the design is the \u201cDriver Axis,\u201d a sculpted dashboard made of overlapping structural layers that frames a 24-inch free-form display. The steering wheel, inspired by racing and gaming, features satellite buttons for total control without distractions, while the raised center console serves as the backbone of a fully integrated, tactile, and functional single-seat driving position. Advanced phygital interaction\u2014blending the physical with the digital\u2014elevates the experience. At its center is \u201cThe Jewel,\u201d a sensory and symbolic interface that awakens the vehicle, adjusts driving modes, and transforms the atmosphere through lights, sounds, and environmental responses.
