The Mercedes-Benz Group Board has announced management changes that also affect design. Starting February 1, 2026, Bastian Baudy, currently head of design at AMG, will take over from Gorden Wagener as head of design. According to the announcement, Wagener, currently Chief Design Officer, will leave the company at his own request on January 31 after three decades of service. After graduating from high school, Bastian Baudy studied automotive design at the University of Pforzheim, where he graduated in 2010. He then joined Mercedes-Benz, where he began his career in Advanced Design. His most recent position was Head of AMG Design, and one of his favorite projects is the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
