The GSe logo is back. After announcing the return of the GSe logo for sporty and electrified models, Opel presented the Astra GSe and Astra Sports Tourer GSe. The new generation Opel Astra expresses the brand’s “bold and pure” styling philosophy. Elements of the GSe give it an even more assertive look: from the 18″ alloy wheel design inspired by the electric Opel Manta GSe concept to the front bumper to the GSe logo on the tailgate.
In the cabin, the sporty ambitions are underlined by the Alcantara-covered front seats, reserved exclusively for the GSe version, reinforcing Opel’s reputation for developing ergonomic seats with AGR certification. The Opel abbreviation “GSe” was traditionally an abbreviation for “Grand Sport Einspritzung” (Grand Sport Injection) as on the Commodore GS/E and the Monza GSE. GSe now becomes Opel’s new sporty, top-of-the-range brand.
