Jozef Kabaň leaves the Volkswagen Design direction. According to Business Insider, the designer has not been reappointed by Volkswagen CEO Thomas Schäfer and has already informed his team. Kabaň could receive a new position within the Volkswagen Group. Sources within the company have mentioned Andreas Mindt, current head of Bentley design, as his successor as of 1 February. Mindt will be replaced at Bentley by Tobias Suehlmann, currently head of interior design at the British luxury manufacturer. Prior to his role at Volkswagen, Jozef Kabaň held various positions in the automotive design industry, first as Head of Exterior at Audi AG, then at Skoda Auto, at Bmw and finally taking over as head of Rolls-Royce design.
