Geely announces the opening of the Geely Innovation Design Center Italy, a new hub for creativity and design based in the centre of Milan. The opening of a European hub for design and innovation in one of the world’s fashion and design capitals was strongly desired by the company’s management, with the aim of reaffirming the central role of creativity in the brand’s present and future. The Geely Innovation Design Center Italy intends to become a key partner for the Geely Auto Design HQ in Shanghai and for the group’s other style centres outside China. According to the announcement, the Geely Innovation Design Center Italy will work on research and development programmes for concept cars and production vehicles.
