Kia has released the first drawings showing the shapes of the new Sorento, the large suv that will be presented at the next Geneva Motor Show and will also be sold with hybrid engines. According to the Korean manufacturer, the car, now in its fourth generation, is based on a new platform. The radical change in styling is already evident in these early designs.
The “tiger nose” stands out at the front with a decidedly wide grille that also incorporates the headlights, which are longer and thinner than the previous generation. From the light clusters a line crosses the side and arrives at the rear where the most characteristic element are the headlights divided into two parts with vertical development. The interior has also been completely redesigned: in the centre of the dashboard stands out the display for managing the infotainment system. In front of the driver the instrumentation has become digital, but in the passenger compartment a few physical buttons have remained, such as the air conditioning controls and the rotary selector for driving mode control and other functions.
