After Shanghai and San Francisco, Peugeot Design Lab, the brand’s style centre dedicated to the realisation of projects outside the automotive sphere, is opening a third studio in Sao Paolo, Brazil. “All the imagination and creativity of the designers, combined with the extreme precision that developing a car requires, are applied to the development of products and services for Peugeot Design Lab’s external customers around the world,” says Matthias Hossann, head of Peugeot design.
The new Brazilian studio will be led by Fabien Darche, formerly head of design for the Psa group in Latin America. “We will consolidate the Peugeot Design Lab in Brazil not only by bringing the know-how, experience and design excellence we have gained in the automotive sector, but above all by offering customers the opportunity to find the refinement and elegance of Peugeot’s style in other products and services,” says Darche. Peugeot Design Lab’s latest projects include the H160, an Airbus helicopter with elegant and dynamic lines, and the Beneteau Sea Drive Concept, a cockpit that combines the functionality and ergonomics of the French manufacturer’s cars with Beneteau’s Ship Control technology.
