“An absolute icon of the 1980s, one of my favourite cars, a rally legend of all time”. Anders Warming, formerly responsible for BMW exterior design, Mini design and now number one at the independent style centre that bears his name, has decided to recreate the 1983 Peugeot 205 T16, with which the French manufacturer competed in the World Rally Championship from 1984 to 1986, winning two constructors’ titles and two drivers’ titles.
“There are some precise aesthetic features that immediately identify this model. The shell line, the air intakes that start at the B-pillar and completely modify all the decidedly squared-off rear volumes. And then the legendary red trim that runs along the profile and is found in the rear with parallel slits to further cool the powerful 200 bhp 1.8 Turbo”.
