Reinova, the new center dedicated to the development and validation of components for the electric and hybrid powertrain, formalizes the To-Move project, a start-up that aims to design and develop sustainable vehicles for transport in the last mile. The company has developed together with the designer Andrea Strippoli and other creatives of the Polytechnic of Turin a folding electric scooter made of bamboo. A scooter “forged by Nature”, sustainable as it is made of natural materials and environmentally friendly because it is electrically powered. In addition, the vehicle is extremely functional thanks to its maneuverability that allows you to fold and carry it easily, like a trolley, in any context both urban and suburban, as well as on means of transport such as trains and airplanes, with important advantages from the point of view of mobility.

“Finding people, managers and entrepreneurs who believe in a project, in a design and in the spirit of 3 guys was a positive surprise. To-Move will give life to ideas and dreams, will give concrete form to different concepts of mobility and will do so with the professionalism, competence and agility of Reinova’s professionals. We will be fast, agile and above all always innovative,” said Andrea Strippoli, Chief Executive Officer of To-Move. In the future other vehicles will be born from the designer’s pen, including a luxury and self-driving one that can be used as a travelling office.
