“The rebirth of an icon”. This is how Renault describes the first teasers announcing the debut at the 89th Paris Motor Show (18-23 October 2022) of a concept car that pays tribute in a contemporary key to the legendary Renault 4.
The Renault design team led by Gilles Vidal has revisited an emblematic model that made its mark in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s in a modern key. The showcar will also appeal to the younger generation by celebrating 25 years of the solidarity car raid 4L Trophy. Thirty years after production ceased, Renault is thus offering a reinterpretation of the lines of this historic model for the brand, pending its arrival in production in a 100% electric version.
