Kia presents a deep restyling of the new Picanto. The compact five-door of the Korean manufacturer is enriched with a bold design and a package of advanced technology. Like all recent Kias, the Picanto is inspired by the “Opposites United” design philosophy, which uses the creative tension generated by the meeting of divergent aspects such as nature and modernity to offer a harmonious whole. The result is a bold and futuristic style, enclosed in a modern and sporty model.
The new front gives the car a bold and effective image, it is characterized by a particular and distinctive light signature that acts as a connection between the characteristic Tiger Nose, the mudguard and the bonnet until it reaches the side air intakes. The headlights with LED technology and the daytime running lights developed vertically, underline modernity and high-tech look, as well as giving the new Picanto a more robust appearance. The rear view, with simple and defined lines, highlights the vertical connection between the lights and the bumper. The innovative rear light signature uses the central part of the tailgate and combined with the new bumper emphasizes the robustness and width of the car.
Picanto will be offered with a new alloy wheel design starting from the standard 14-inch wheels up to 16-inch on the richer versions. The GT Line version is characterized by a gritty front, with the famous Tiger Nose extending in width to underline the car’s sporty characteristics. New specific 16-inch diamond-cut wheels and a rear diffuser complete the GT Line’s high-performance image. The designers also provided for new colors. There are four new colors that debut with the model: Signal Red, Smoke Blue, Sporty Blue and Adventurous Green.
