Hyundai has unveiled the first sketch of the Ioniq 9 in anticipation of the model’s official unveiling at the Los Angeles Autoshow from 22 November to 1 December. The Ioniq 9, will be the brand’s first all-electric 7-seat SUV. ‘The Ioniq 9 offers an exclusive lounge-style environment,’ said Simon Loasby, Senior Vice President and Head of Hyundai Design Center. ‘Its nature-inspired interior and lounge concept reflect our progressive approach in which technology, customer-centric design and comfort come together seamlessly to design the future of mobility.’

The model’s ‘Aerosthetic’ silhouette is combined with a cabin designed to be comfortable and relaxing. Hyundai’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) provides a spacious interior with flat floors for all three rows of seats, making it easy to move around in the vehicle. In addition to the remarkable level of spaciousness, the cabin features design elements with soft, elliptical shapes, such as upholstery and door handles, which contribute to a comfortable and sophisticated ambience.
