The Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign is a combination of Japanese technology and Italian craftsmanship. Only 50 examples for a supercar in which it is possible to customize everything, interior and exterior, also requiring liveries inspired by the historic GT-Rs of the racing world. In Italdesign’s atelier it takes four months of work to create each of these four-wheeled jewels developed by a new Nissan GT-R Nismo.

The Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign, a special edition designed as a tribute to 50 years of the Nissan GT-R and the history of the Turin design house, for the interior of the prototype, has a black Alcantara interior combined with carbon fibre, the combination of which enhances the sporting spirit and at the same time guarantees a significant reduction in weight. Lightness is, in fact, an essential characteristic to improve the performance of a racing car. On board, Alcantara has multiple applications: on the centre console, instrument panel and doors – in combination with carbon fibre finishes, but also on the dashboard and the central seat band, to ensure maximum grip in extreme driving conditions.

The material also covers the steering wheel and its central body with the custom-made spokes, made of carbon fibre, with a red notch at 12 o’clock. Contrasting white stitching and embroidery underline the utmost attention to detail. The Italdesign prototype is characterized by a layout that highlights the sporty character of the car, thanks to Alcantara’s technical features, including lightness, grip and breathability, without sacrificing elegance. Alcantara also allows, in line with the spirit of the limited edition, a high degree of customization, being available in different textures and workmanship.
