The next January 28 at 10.30am will take place the press conference at the Automobile Museum of Turin, Italy, where Giorgetto Giugiaro will be named the President of the Department of Transportation Design at the Istituto d’Arte Applicata e Design (IAAD), for the year 2016/2017.Giugiaro will talk alongside the Mayor of Turin, Piero Fassino and the institution’s director, Laura Milani.
The collaboration between IAAD and Giugiaro dates back to 2011, when, in partnership with Italdesign, the school offered a one-year master course in transportation design focused on the Vokswagen brand and – according to a company’s statement – “addressed to the issues of mobility and the main means of transport in an Italian way of thinking about design and style”.
