Entrepreneur, innovator and automotive designer Henrik Fisker and UCLA Anderson Executive Education have joined hands to offer a first-in-class executive education program entitled “Leadership by Design”.
«The three-day executive program will immerse senior leaders in the key leadership principles that Henrik Fisker has distilled from his distinguished career, said Danielle Irvin, Managing Director of UCLA Anderson Executive Education. The goal is to provide a practical playbook on how to infuse innovation into the DNA of your organization».
The program’s core premise is that the power of design extends far beyond creating new products, and company leaders can apply the program’s teachings to transform their creative capacity and the rate of innovation within their organizations, whatever the industry or sector. Fisker breaks down the leadership mindset into three key dimensions: the innovation mindset – how to think outside the box; aligning systems – how to integrate functional teams to bring innovation to life; and future-focused thinking – acknowledging that what you build now must work in the future.
«Building an organization that can survive and thrive in a world that is evolving at exponential speed is vital», said Fisker.
Taking place May 10 – 12, 2016 on the beautiful UCLA campus in Los Angeles, the Leadership by Design program welcomes senior leadership from any industry or sector. Executives will gain experience with high-level strategy and innovation frameworks designed to ignite fresh thinking and approaches within their organizations.
