Aiways, the Shanghai-based personal mobility provider, is proud to announce its partnership with Kiyoyuki Ken Okuyama, former Pininfarina design director as the brand’s new Chief Advisor of Design and Art. “It is a great pleasure to have the opportunity to work with Aiways as it seeks to be at the forefront of the new era of electro-mobility and connectivity. Born in Yamagata, Japan, Ken graduated as industrial designer from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena in 1982. He successfully worked as a Chief Designer for General Motors, a Senior Designer for Porsche AG, and a Design Director for Pininfarina, overseeing the design for automotive icons like the Ferrari Enzo as well as the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and Maserati Quattroporte. Furthermore, Ken is also noted for his unmistakable designs within the motorcycle, train, furniture, robotics and architectural sectors.
