The Master in Transportation & Automobile Design (TAD), promoted by Politecnico di Milano and managed by POLI.design, is taking part for the second consecutive year in the Global Grad Show in Dubai, the event dedicated to the most innovative projects carried out by students of the world’s leading design schools, with the Audi IN project. Created by a team of 4 students of the TAD Master – Edoardo Capi, Seyed Ruhollah Kashfi, Turgut Alkim Tutumlu, Daniel Cosmas Wamono Busima – it will be on display until November 16 together with many other international projects.
Audi IN is an ambitious project focused on the limited mobility of users, born with the aim of facilitating people who live every day with physical limitations starting from the challenge launched during the 9th edition of the Master on the theme “4 Distances: new e-form languages for future distances”. During the 15 months of activity, the students were invited to hypothesize models for the German premium brand, emphasizing the importance of electric vehicles and autonomous driving, through innovative and avant-garde forms, according to the specific style and language of the brand.
The Transportation and Automobile Design Master trains designers to develop their creativity through the entire process typical of style centers: from the definition of external forms to the development of the interior; study and choice of materials and colors; physical modeling with clay and digital. The training course, directed by Fausto Brevi, Professor at the School of Design of the Politecnico di Milano, is limited to a maximum of 20 students: it is aimed at those who have a degree from the old system or a first or second level degree in the disciplines of design (engineering, architecture, industrial design).
