MV Agusta announces a reorganisation at the top of its CRC style centre in San Marino. Giorgio Mazzotti will be the new Design Director, and Alessandro Volpini the new Technical Manager. The appointments will be effective from June 15, 2020. Mazzotti, 56, is an industrial designer with almost thirty years experience in the production of motorcycles, cars and commercial vehicles. At MV Agusta he succeeds Adrian Morton, who will leave the company in these days.
Volpini, 52 years old, is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the design and industrialization of engines for the motorcycle industry. His skills extend to design, prototyping, testing and road tests. Mazzotti and Volpini will report to engineer Brian Gillen, who has been promoted from Technical Director to the role of R&D Director of the group.
