Renault presents Arkana, its first suv coupé. The car, also equipped with hybrid engines, was built on the CMF-B platform of the Renault-Nissan Alliance, the same platform on which the new generations of Clio and Captur were born and will arrive in Europe in 2021. The new Arkana has a ground clearance of 190 millimetres and an inclined C-pillar that descends quickly to the rear, giving it a coupe line.
The Arkana’s grille, with the Renault logo at its centre, is surrounded by a chrome-plated line which, together with the other decorative inserts, gives it elegance and refinement. At the bottom, the highly expressive front bumper accentuates the dynamic design while the protective ski gives an impression of robustness. The LED headlights incorporate the C-Shape lighting signature that characterises all new Renault models. The styling of the lights has been extended to the rear where we find the same lighting signature accompanied by a band that extends across the entire width of the tailgate.
The Arkana features a dashboard with digital display: the colour screen measures 4.2, 7 or 10.2 inches depending on the version and is fully customisable. In the centre of the dashboard is the second vertical 7 or 9.3 inch panel from which all the infotainment system functions are controlled. The centre console includes ample space including induction charging for smartphones and side storage compartments, including a net on the passenger side.
