Lexus has released the first images of the electric sports car unveiled for the first time on December 14 during the event in which Akio Toyoda, president of the Japanese manufacturer, revealed as many as 16 new concept cars from Toyota, bZ and Lexus. Toyota and Lexus style centers around the world contributed to the car’s design under the leadership of Simon Humphries.

The new sports model will be part of a full range of electrics that Lexus will launch by 2030. The efforts of the designers have focused on achieving a true sports car height, not an easy point when it comes to electric cars since the battery pack is placed in the floorpan. According to the statement, the car will be able to ensure the characteristic benefits of Lexus driving, a unique driving experience based on linear vehicle responses with seamless connection of deceleration, steering and acceleration.

The car will serve as the heir to the LFA, the hypercar produced in 500 units by Lexus between 2010 and 2012 designed by Leonardo Fioravanti. The acceleration of the new electric car from 0 to 100 km / h will take place in just over 2 seconds, with a claimed range of over 700 km thanks to the possible use of solid state batteries.
