Opel opens a revolutionary chapter in the history of one of its most popular models. The Astra also becomes 100% electric, both in the hatchback version and the “Sports Tourer” station wagon. Few aesthetic differences differentiate it from the versions powered by the combustion engine: the electric Opel Astra is fitted with Vizor, the new face of the brand, has a sporty front bumper and 18-inch alloy wheels with diamond cut or all-black finish.
In the cockpit we find the ergonomically active sports seats, optionally available in Alcantara, the Pure Panel, a fully digital driver’s seat with two large 10-inch widescreens. The latest generation of the intuitive man-machine interface displays all important functions such as battery charge level or range, while important settings such as climate control can still be easily adjusted at the touch of a button. The electric Opel Astra features a 54 kWh battery pack powering a 156 horsepower zero-emission engine for a claimed range of 416 kilometres.
