A few weeks after the debut of its first hybrid super sports car, Lamborghini celebrates the naturally aspirated V12 engine with the Invencible coupé and the Auténtica roadster. Two unique cars that enhance the brand’s DNA and represent the pinnacle of Lamborghini’s exclusivity and customisation, thanks to the involvement of customers from the very beginning of the project to create completely bespoke cars. The two one-offs have been designed by the Centro Stile Lamborghini led by Mitja Borkert, expressing the utmost creativity applicable to the V12 platform, while respecting the stylistic features that have made the brand famous, creating two unmistakable works of art with a sportiness inspired by the world of racing.

Invencible and Auténtica pay homage to recent masterpieces of Lamborghini design: the Sesto Elemento, an eulogy to lightness and sportiness characterised by its large rear wing; the Reventon and its unmistakable aeronautical style; the Veneno, which took the quest for aerodynamic perfection to the extreme. Both share the monocoque carbon-fibre chassis produced in Sant’Agata Bolognese, as well as the full-carbon bodywork, which reproduce designs and technical solutions successfully tested by Lamborghini in motorsport. The monolithic bonnet reinterprets that of the Essenza SCV12, as does the pronounced front splitter, with pillars designed to optimally channel aerodynamic flows.

“We have created two one-offs with a unique character, inspired by the world of racing and the passion that can be felt on the racetracks,’ comments Mitja Borkert. ‘With these cars, the Centro Stile Lamborghini has been able to express the maximum creativity applicable to the V12 platform; their design, raised to a new level, best represents our unique DNA. The hexagon, Lamborghini’s preferred stylistic feature, is re-proposed with disruptive harmony in the distinctive elements of the cars, starting with the all-new front and rear light clusters, featuring innovative hexagonal LED daytime running lights. As on the bonnet, with air intakes reminiscent of those on the Sesto Elemento, and in the dedicated central triple exhaust with tailpipes in Inconel, a special high-strength steel alloy derived from aeronautics.

The cabin of both cars is characterised by clean lines, with the minimalist dashboard embellished by hexagonal air vents, made in 3D printing, and the console without instrumentation, to emphasise the lightness of the volumes and focus the driver’s attention on driving pleasure. Finally, the cockpit, framed by carbon, features digital instrumentation with dedicated graphics for each of the cars. Invencible and Auténtica are the last V12 cars produced by Lamborghini equipped with the 6.5-litre Longitudinale Posteriore (LP) twelve-cylinder engine, before the transition to the hybrid era. The engine delivers 780 horsepower and develops a maximum torque of 720 Nm at 6750 rpm, combined with the 7-speed ISR gearbox, all-wheel drive and the Lamborghini Dynamic Steering four-wheel system.
