GAC presented the Era concept car, a destined electric vehicle with a futuristic design. “Innovation and experimentation are at the heart of our journey. The Era concept car is a testament to our commitment to driving technological progress and innovation by tapping into talented global resources. It shows the collaboration of our global teams, including Advanced Design Los Angeles and Milan,” said Fan Zhang, Vice President of GAC R&D Centre.
The car’s innovative design is said to pioneer the convergence of technological ingenuity and industrial aesthetics, resulting in a vehicle that is both elegant and powerful. The front fascia seamlessly incorporates headlights, sensors and cameras into a single full-width light element, adorned with a sophisticated geometric pattern that improves heat dissipation. The bodywork is designed with clean lines and an aerodynamic kit made from recycled plastic from the sea and seaweed-based materials, demonstrating the brand’s focus on environmental sustainability.
