VinFast Auto, Vietnam’s leading electric vehicle manufacturer, unveiled its new VF Wild concept at Ces 2024. The prototype was developed and built in Italy by Roberto Piatti’s Torino Design and represents the brand’s first attempt at a pickup truck, demonstrating VinFast’s plan to expand its product range in the coming years.
With an overall length of 5.32 metres and a width of almost 2 metres, the dimensions of the VF Wild place it in the mid-size pickup category, especially when compared to those on the American market. Square, massive lines envelop the car, while the front end with the logo stretching across the full width is consistent with the other models in the range. The Australian design studio Gomotiv worked jointly on the design of the vehicle. The design, developed over 8,000 hours and with the involvement of several partners, boasts an aesthetic that VinFast calls ‘Fluid Dynamism’ of great impact, designed exclusively for this concept car and inspired by the fluid movement of a superhero’s cape in the wind.
