Spadaconcept has developed the design and the 3d modeling, together with the e.GO Team, of the new e.GO Life. The Aachen-based electric car company e.GO Mobile AG presents the city car e.GO Life with its ultimate design at CeBIT 2017 in Hanover. The e.GO Mobile AG redesigned the electric car that had originally been devised as a heavy quadricycle to a standard passenger car of the vehicle. The e.GO Life presents itself as a high-acceleration city car, 0-50 kph in 4,9 seconds, that is excellent value for money at a price of 15,900 Euros. The e.GO Life series production will start in spring 2018, ordering will be possible after May 2017.
«The car was designed in collaboration with e.GO. We wanted simple shapes through intuitive design, to make it a cross product, suitable for every type of user. t has the typical shape of a city car, with a H point high for optimal visibility», said Paolo Spada, founder of Spadaconcept, to Auto&Design. «However, we didn’t give up on a dynamic style. In fact, the shoulders are wide and the car is placed on the ground. The bumpers are pronounced and the front windshield is curved», Spada continued.
The interiors are essential, all you need is at your fingertips. «The interior of a citycar must be practical and not invasive. The user must live the interior with ease and immediacy», the designer said. The team of designers and engineers worked in synergy with Aanchen’s RWTH campus, which provided the professors and students know-how for the best project success.
