To celebrate its 100th anniversary Mazda has launched a special edition, available throughout its range, celebrating its first car, the R360 Coupé. The anniversary editions will feature a white metallic paintwork and burgundy interior trim, details that made the R360 Coupé a success when it was launched in 1960. The cars have the 100th Anniversary logo.
The R360 Coupe was Mazda’s first car and was an immediate success thanks to a futuristic design for the time made of soft lines and surfaces, practicality and competitive prices. The car had a four-stroke engine with two V-cylinder, which was unprecedented for the small cars of the time, automatic transmission and with great attention to weight reduction to improve driving fun.
Customers can choose the 100th Anniversary version on all models in the Mazda range, with metallic white paint and burgundy interior, and with many unique details including hubcaps, floor mats, headrests, and remote control with dedicated logo. The body colour is Snow Flake White Pearl Mica. The special edition models, already on sale in Japan, can be ordered by European customers all over Europe in the coming weeks.
