To celebrate the innovators who gave birth to Nissan Ariya, the 100% electric crossover coupé, the Japanese manufacturer has created Horizon, a brand new design magazine. Horizon is packed with stories, photographs and personalised video content and offers an unprecedented vision of a vehicle concept that changes the rules of the game. Telling Ariya’s design stories, enriched with numerous details, the magazine illustrates the beginnings of the design process through the expert eyes of Nissan’s teams.
Immersed in the heart of Nissan Design Europe, Horizon ranges from designers and colour managers to clay modellers and digital designers. Through personal anecdotes, the teams reveal their passions, inspirations and creative ideas for Ariya, telling how the first sketch turned into a detailed design concept. “Innovation is defined by looking beyond the horizon, exploring the limits of technology and creativity to create something new and exciting. This is exactly what Nissan Ariya’s design represents,” said Matthew Weaver, Vice President of Nissan Design Europe.
