The Mustang Mach-E GT is the sportiest version of Ford’s all-electric SUV (here’s the design story). Two electric motors, all-wheel drive, 487 hp and 860 Nm of torque: we tested the model on the roads of Croatia recording dynamism, fun to drive and lightning fast acceleration with a 0-100 km / h in just 3.7 seconds. The Mach-E GT, however, is not only performance: the designers of the American manufacturer have equipped it with peculiar stylistic elements for a general line more sporty than the traditional version.
In addition to the colors Grabber Blue and Cyber Orange, the new model is characterized by wheel arches in body color, a custom polycarbonate grille with three-dimensional effect in Dark Matter Grey and a unique design of the front bumper with spoiler and air intakes. Available only for the GT, the 20-inch alloy wheels have a machined surface with brilliant black recesses, while black is found in the roof and mirrors. Finally, the Brembo braking system has red calipers.
The cabin has also experienced some changes reserved for the GT version. The seats are now restrained with an element at the top that supports the shoulders of the driver and passengers. The dominant color theme is black and leather is found at the edges of the seats while the central part is in Alcantara. The digital layout has remained unchanged: from the large central 15.5-inch vertical panel, the Sync infotainment system is controlled, neat, intuitive and in high resolution. The instrumentation is conveyed by a 10-inch rectangular panel in front of the driver.
