At CES 2022 in Las Vegas, Turkish brand Togg unveiled the Smart Concept, a fastback prototype with elegant lines, designed under the direction of the brand’s design team led by Murat Günak in collaboration with Pininfarina as a strategic partner. The styling concept is based on a defined rear end and a single line that sculpts the upper part of the side starting with the headlights, designed as in the upcoming 2023 C-SUV model unveiled in 2019.
The illuminated Togg logo on the bonnet, a design feature exclusive to this model, symbolises the union of East and West. The wheels maintain the formal characteristics of the multi-spoke rims typical of the brand’s stylistic DNA, while the windscreen has been almost redesigned to be compatible with the electric architecture. As for the interior design, great attention has been paid to the user experience thanks to several full-width displays arranged on the dashboard managed by a single system called Usecase Mobility.
The interior, developed with a typical SUV design approach, features a sporty and elegant steering wheel and four individual seats – the front ones in light leather, the rear ones in dark leather – with integrated turquoise seat belts to emphasise not only electrification but also the brand’s DNA. The doors have a folding opening thanks to a design that eliminates the central pillar, a true showcar element.
