Following the launch of the Enyaq iV, Škoda adds a new elegant coupe that will also be offered in the first 100% electric RS sports variant. Derived directly from the Vision iV concept car, unveiled in 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show, the car has a sportier character than the Suv variant. The roof, which slopes gently down towards the rear starting at the center pillar, is formed by a standard tinted panoramic glass and, together with the characteristic rear volume, gives the model a particularly distinctive character.
“We have retained almost all aspects of the Vision iV concept, which attracted a great deal of attention. The elegant design, with sculptural and crystalline details, gives the car a performance appearance. At the same time, the coupe version retains the brand’s typical qualities, such as generous space and a great level of functionality,” said Oliver Stefani, head of design at Škoda.
Based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB electrified modular platform, the Enyaq iV Coupe has a length of 4,653 mm, a width of 1,879 mm and a height is 1,622 mm while the wheelbase measures 2,765 mm. The sporty lines ensure excellent aerodynamics for an air restistance coefficient of 0.23. Large alloy wheels from 19 up to 21 inches enhance the car’s athletic look, while the launch of this variant also saw two new colors added to the range: the Sunset Orange metallic and the Graphite Grey metallic, which replaces the Quartz Grey metallic. The Mamba Green color is offered exclusively for the RS sport variant.
As with the Enyaq iV, the coupe’s interior is highly customizable. Customers can choose from all-new Design Selections that take inspiration from the most modern living environments. The styling, colors and materials used, some of which are particularly sustainable, are perfectly harmonized. For the sporty Enyaq Coupé RS iV, two specific solutions are offered. Ten intelligent option packages and a number of individually offered features make it possible to fully configure the car in just six steps.
