The typical silence of an electric car combined with the awesome voice of Maestro Andrea Bocelli. It is from this contrast that the new special version of the Fiat 500e (Cover Story in Auto&Design issue no. 243) was born. It is called La Prima by Bocelli and is the new top-of-the-line trim for the Italian zero-emission citycar. Available in sedan, Cabrio and 3+1 body styles, it features a particularly rich equipment that also includes the Premium Audio system by JBL tuned just together with Bocelli. The audio system can count on 320 W power and the “Virtual Venues” technology, through which four “acoustic environments” so dear to the Italian tenor have been recreated: the Maestro’s living room at home, his recording studio, the Teatro Verdi in Pisa and the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico.
The 500e by Bocelli can be recognized by its interior upholstered in Beige Ghiaccio leather with a Fiat texture on the seats and backrests and a dashboard featuring a woven finish. Plenty of technology on board as well, well represented by the 10.25-inch infotainment system screen. Outside, however, distinguishing this trim are the 17-inch diamond alloy wheels, dedicated badges and, for the Cabrio, the Monogram Fiat convertible top. Six colors are available: Onyx Black, Rose Gold, Ice White, Mineral Grey, Ocean Green and Celestial Blue.
