The Renault Espace changes its face. The French manufacturer’s legendary model is being transformed from an MPV into a five or seven-seat SUV, following market demand. Renault has unveiled the first two teasers of the model where the silhouette and high wheels with pronounced shoulders and a styling trend that follows that of the Austral are clear.

The design of the new Espace was created by the team led by Gilles Vidal. On the side, the large glazed area extends all the way to the rear, helping to give the car a certain impetus that ends with a spoiler. The model has a length of 4.71 metres, 14 centimetres less than the current generation, while the interior width is said to be 2.48 metres, more than the current generation. The new Renault Espace will be unveiled in spring.
