Signum Stile is an automotive design house specialised in the creation of supercars and bespoke projects, founded by Michele Leonello with Pau Brañas and Marco Renna, respectively Chief Design Officer, Chief Creative Officer and Chief Technical Officer.
Building on a trajectory of ever-accelerating growth, the Milan-based company is currently undergoing a phase of profound evolution with new premises: a change driven both by the organic growth of the team, which now numbers over twenty, and by a series of high-profile projects – as yet undisclosed – that require a new organisational structure.
Against this backdrop of expansion comes the strategic appointment of Gianluca Cordua as Design Director. With an outstanding track record in the luxury automotive sector, having previously held the roles of Design Manager at Granstudio and Head of Design at ARES Modena, Cordua takes the helm of Signum Stile’s design department with a clear objective: “To give shape to the studio’s pure vision”, by establishing a studio that will open its new premises on the outskirts of Milan this coming autumn.
The choice of location is no coincidence. The new studio will be situated at the heart of what has long been establishing itself as Milan’s new automotive design and technology district, an area historically linked to great stories such as that of Alfa Romeo.

Signum Stile

For the designers at Signum Stile, the connection with the local area is a cornerstone of their identity. Their approach to clients – who are predominantly international – is based on sharing and celebrating the ‘Made in Milan’ automotive culture.
In an era where personalisation is essential even for major luxury brands – which can rely on in-house bespoke departments – a flexible company such as Signum Stile stands out as a competitive partner for the future of limited-edition cars and supercars.
A vision enthusiastically shared by Cordua himself: “At Signum Stile, we strive for purity in our stylistic research, not tied solely to engineering requirements, as has always been the case in bespoke design. We operate in a rapidly expanding sector, where Italy demonstrates a level of artisanal expertise and aesthetic sensibility that is unique in the world. Conceiving unique creations, returning in every sense to being ‘bodywork tailors’ in close collaboration with the region’s master craftsmen, is our guiding principle.”
