In April 2024, in Milan, Alfa Romeo will present the first Sport Urban Vehicle, which will also be available in an electric version. Its name will be Milano, a true tribute to the city where it all began on 24 June 1910. With the Milano Alfa Romeo re-enters the B segment, the most relevant in Europe, with a new proposal designed by the team led by Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos that totally embodies the sporty DNA.
Few elements characterise the identity of a car manufacturer like the brand name on the grille. In the case of A.L.F.A. first and Alfa Romeo later, the coat of arms wants to reaffirm the Milanese origins of the factory and represents, with its variations over the years, the mirror of the company’s and Italy’s historical events. The cross of the Municipality of Milan, the Visconti Biscione and the inscription Alfa Romeo are in fact the elements that have always remained from the birth of the brand. The new B-Suv arriving in spring will be built on the Cmp platform of the Stellantis group, a platform already used for the Jeep Avenger and Fiat 600 produced together with Alfa Romeo Milano in the Tychy plant in Poland.
