Zeekr proudly announces the opening of its new design studio in Shanghai, led by Javier Garcia-Gallardo. According to the statement, the Shanghai design centre is an integral part of the brand’s global evolution to provide different perspectives and ensure user-centred design solutions for the Chinese market, the world’s largest for electric vehicles.
The Shanghai studio is located within Zeekr’s research and development centre in Shanghai and facilitates closer communication and understanding of the nuances and needs of local customers. Javier Garcia-Gallardo, currently leading Zeekr A.R.T Design in Sweden said: ‘The Shanghai studio will ensure that the brand’s design remains at the forefront. It will help foster creativity by acting as a collaboration centre for different talents. I am looking forward to this new chapter in my career.
